This innovation is a change of focus on the way AI-powered learning tools can be used to attract students, educators, and interested learners worldwide.

Conventionally, the study of or learning mathematics and physics has been based largely on reading explanations in the textbooks or looking at fixed diagrams printed on papers. Though such techniques have been successfully used since decades, they do not usually provide a complete picture of how the formulas and the variables behave as the conditions vary. By introducing dynamic visual explanations, now the learners are able to deal directly with what they are learning. They do not need to read about the formula, but are able to interact with the variables and see the results change on the fly.

As an example, when looking into the concept of the Pythagorean theorem, the user can now adjust the length of sides on the triangle, and immediately watch the length of the hypotenuse. This type of real-time interaction enables learners to have a visual sense of the relationships between numbers and formulas that cannot be brought to life by means of static diagrams.

OpenAI says that now the interactive visuals support over 70 topics in mathematics and science. Among the list are the binomial square, the Law given by Charles, compound interest, the Law of Coulomb, exponential decay, Hooke Law, kinetic energy, linear equations and the Law of Ohm. These are some of the general topics taught in schools and universities but are usually perceived to be difficult to many learners.

This feature has also been revealed by the company as one that will keep growing in future. With the introduction of more topics, the system can support more academic subjects and levels. The end result is to simplify complex concepts with the help of visual experimentation coupled with explanation.

The other significant part of this feature is accessibility. Advanced learning tools can be accessible to millions of users around the world, as the dynamic visual explanations are offered to everyone who has an account on ChatGPT. In case one is a student who is studying and about to write some exams, a teacher who wants to know how to better explain something, or a simple learner who is just studying scientific phenomena, these tools can make the study process much better.
