It is capable of generating new content, rearranging categories and even optimizing SEO features such as alt text and meta texts.

The most fascinating thing about this feature is the extent to which such AI agents can be autonomous. As an example, they are able to scan the theme of a web site such as colors and fonts used and layout patterns and produce content of the same theme. This will be consistent throughout the site without the need to use manual adjustments. Moreover, AI agents have the capability of handling the comments through approving, replying, or cleaning the spam, lowering the burden of site owners.

Regardless of such potent features, there are protection mechanisms embedded in WordPress.com to ensure that it remains under human control. Changes in all AI generated contents are automatically saved in the form of a draft, and changes are only approved by users before they become live. This is in order to make sure that though AI may be doing the heavy lifting, the ultimate decision is left to humans. All the activities in an activity tracker are also logged in the platform which is also transparent and accountable.

Yet, the future of online content is a major question that relates to this innovation. When AI agents are able to produce articles, facilitate conversations, and design websites, will human creativity be removed? It is possible that the web would be clogged with content generated by machines and it would be more difficult to tell whose voice is represented by the human or the AI voice. This might make it more efficient; however, it might affect authenticity and originality.
